Summary:
Dhruva is a junior at Shakopee High School and currently serves as his chapter’s President-Elect. In this role he has focused on leadership development, outreach, and maintaining stability within the chapter during a period of advisor transitions. He has helped organize guest speakers from multiple healthcare professions including nurses, athletic trainers, and surgeons, while also introducing mock competitions and event training activities during chapter meetings to help members prepare for competitive events. Dhruva has also collaborated with neighboring chapters such as Eden Prairie to host joint activities and encourage broader participation in HOSA. He has attended Fall Leadership Conference and State Leadership Conference and has competed in events including Creative Problem Solving, Sports Medicine, Public Service Announcement, and Biomedical Debate.
