Mr. Anthony Schaffhauser is a Senior Research Analyst for the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED). He brings labor market expertise, particularly for healthcare occupations and the healthcare industry. He also has over 15 years’ experience in various roles in Minnesota State Colleges and Universities. Most recently, he served as the Director of Healthcare Workforce Development of HealthForce Minnesota, building partnerships and forging solutions to bolster high school and college health science programs. He played a key role in adapting and increasing nursing assistant training through the pandemic. His previous roles include Dean of Student Access and Executive Director of Continuing Education and Customized Training, as well as teaching. He received his Master of Science in Public Policy Analysis from University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. Anthony has served on the Minnesota HOSA Board since 2017, and as Treasurer since 2018. He is thrilled to help develop the future healthcare workforce!
