Chau-Mi Phan is an alumnus who joined HOSA in 2017 and has served as the MN HOSA Public Relations officer and Vice President of LNHS HOSA. She is continuing her journey with HOSA as an alumni representative while attending the University of Minnesota for a B.S. in Neuroscience and a minor in Pharmacology. After completing her undergraduate studies, she hopes to attend Optometry school to become an OD. She currently holds positions both as an undergraduate researcher studying sex differences in addiction and as an optometric technician. She balances her STEM-centered life with a passion for art, music, and ballroom dancing. Chau-Mi aims to bring a diverse perspective to the board with her student, researcher, and healthcare worker backgrounds. Her time with HOSA has been incredibly fruitful providing her with career resources, skill-building, and most importantly lifelong friends and family.
