Minnesota HOSA Future Health Professionals has been the most important platform for Emily to build her passion for medicine throughout high school. After starting a chapter of HOSA at Prior Lake High School in her freshman year, Emily is honored to offer her experience to members of Minnesota HOSA as the VP of Engagement on the 2023-2024 State Officer Team. Through HOSA, Emily has developed a great appreciation for the medical field and indispensable personal connections with other future health professionals. For Emily, HOSA has defined her road to the future and provided an avenue to solidify what it means to be a leader.
Emily is incredibly excited to be entering her senior year at Prior Lake High School taking full time PSEO classes at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Emily is planning on pursuing a chemistry-related major on the pre-med track. She aspires to change the approach to women’s pain and patient gender bias in the medical field, in part by discussing these issues with other future health professionals in HOSA.
Emily strives to connect and engage HOSA Future Health Professionals across Minnesota. Her goal is to transform MN HOSA into a more intertwined community with leaders eager to support each other.
Emily is an avid crafter, pinterest connoisseur, and thrifter. She loves a good deal and creating functional, beautiful, and sustainable pieces. She thoroughly enjoys a great environment with something great to learn about: whether it’s a good psychology book by the lake or an important topic to research at a coffee shop.
Emily is honored to be your 2023-2024 VP of Engagement, and she is thrilled to give back to the organization that has provided her with an excellent community.
