Dr. Nabeelah is a Physician and Infectious Disease Epidemiologist with a passion for medicine, public health, teaching and connecting with people. She moved to Minnesota in the summer of 2014 after her travels for education to multiple cities worldwide, the last of which being Boston. She has worked at multiple healthcare organizations around the Twin Cities and has held past leadership positions. She is happy to use her skills and connect with HOSA-FHP students, thus enabling the formation of an excellent healthcare workforce. She is an avid reader and has many interests; hiking, cooking, crocheting and ceramic painting are a few. She is a fierce kindness advocate, science enthusiast and is inspired by the Montessori pedagogy. Presently, she works with the Ramsey County Public Health’s Medical Reserve Corps as a BLS and PFA trainer. She has been on the HOSA Board for over one year.
