MN HOSA Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) Camp
December 4–6, 2025 | Camp Ripley
The Medical Reserve Corps aligns closely with HOSA’s mission: to promote career opportunities in healthcare and enhance the delivery of quality care to all people. MN HOSA’s MRC program empowers students to prepare for emergencies—both personally and as leaders in their communities.
Participants learn how to respond effectively to natural and man-made disasters through hands-on training in courses such as First Aid, CPR, Psychological First Aid, DRAT (Disaster Readiness Action for Teens), and ICS 200 & 700. These certifications not only prepare members for HOSA events, but also equip them to be confident, capable volunteers in times of crisis.
Throughout the year, members who complete MRC training have the opportunity to return to their schools and communities as mentors—leading emergency preparedness efforts, presenting to classrooms, and even hosting summer safety camps for younger students.
MN HOSA MRC is more than a camp. It’s a call to action—educating the next generation of healthcare leaders to protect and prepare their communities, one skill at a time.
