“Believe in yourself and all that you are, know that there is something inside you that is greater than any obstacle.” – Christian D. Larson
Anya’s HOSA journey began in her junior year when she co-founded her school’s HOSA chapter, driven by a desire to create more opportunities for students to explore diverse healthcare careers. Building on her passion for creativity and communication, Anya soon joined Minnesota HOSA as a Public Relations Intern, where she developed essential leadership skills and discovered her passion. Now, she hopes to continue supporting Minnesota HOSA’s mission as a Senior Public Relations Intern.
Anya is a senior at Math and Science Academy with interests in both business and healthcare. She aims to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to make a meaningful impact in whichever field she pursues. Through HOSA, Anya has gained valuable leadership experience, professional connections, and insight into healthcare careers that support her growth and future goals.
As a Senior Public Relations Intern, Anya aims to share Minnesota HOSA’s purpose by increasing awareness across the state through digital outreach. She envisions building stronger connections, fostering inclusivity, and growing membership between chapters to ensure all members feel empowered to pursue their healthcare ambitions.
Outside of academics, Anya is actively involved in the NMDP student engagement leadership program, working to raise awareness about the importance of marrow donation. Beyond playing badminton and spending quality time with friends, she works with children at a Montessori school, where she fosters a positive learning environment. Anya is excited for another year of growing, connecting, and giving back to the HOSA community that has given her so much.
