Summary:
John is a junior at Osseo Senior High School and serves as president of his local HOSA chapter as well as a MN HOSA Connect intern. As chapter president he leads meetings, manages communication between officers and the advisor, coordinates activities, and creates chapter social media content. He has helped organize volunteer opportunities, fundraisers, and skills exploration meetings while supporting completion of Honor Chapter requirements. Through the Connect internship he has worked on outreach to potential chapters and alumni recruitment at conferences. John has attended Fall Leadership Conference, State Leadership Conference, Mid-Winter competitions, and MRC Camp. He has competed in Dental Science, Pharmacy Science, Pharmacology, and Medical Math, earning multiple placements including 1st place in Dental Science and 2nd place in Pharmacy Science at SLC. Outside of HOSA he is involved in orchestra, cultural organizations, and student leadership activities.
