After joining HOSA with absolutely no knowledge of it, Rishika quickly immersed herself in the community and all it has to offer. Whether it be organizing her local chapter’s guest speaker sessions, volunteering around her community, or competing in the many competitive events, HOSA has allowed Rishika to not only explore but to experience her future. Now, she is honored to serve as your 2025-2026 Public Relations Officer.
Rishika has always aspired to follow the medical pathway. As a child, her toy stethoscope was practically glued around her neck, always ready to help! Now a senior at Edina High School, she plans to major in Biology and minor in Mass Communications and hopes to work one day as a Pediatrician. She dreams of not only healing her community, but also advocating for a brighter, more equal future.
Outside of HOSA, you can find Rishika creating pottery in her school’s ceramics studio, painting, or practicing for hours before a weekend Speech tournament. However, when she’s back home, she loves to melt into her couch with her mom and dog to watch cheesy romcoms for hours. Rishika loves listening to music and will listen to every new release under the sun, deep-diving for double meanings in every lyric.
Rishika is excited to step into her role as Public Relations Officer, promoting HOSA initiatives, collaborating with the rest of her team, and helping mold the healthcare of tomorrow!
