Tristen, a steadfast believer in Dory’s influential philosophy from Finding Nemo and Finding Dory, lives by the mantra “Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming.” He confronts life’s obstacles with an unwavering determination to preserve, guided by this empowering principle. During his junior year of high school, Tristen discovered HOSA and recognized the opportunity to apply this philosophy for lasting impact. Tristen’s dedication to “Just keep swimming” extends beyond his initial encounter with HOSA. Currently studying Neuroscience and Chicano-Latino Studies at the University of Minnesota, he immerses himself in these fields, fueled by a passion to make a difference. Aspiring to become a Pediatric Neuropsychologist specializing in neurodegenerative diseases in Latin America, Tristen is determined to improve healthcare and provide support to those in need, embodying the spirit of Dory throughout his journey. Within HOSA, Tristen’s unwavering commitment to “Just keep swimming” forges unbreakable bonds, fosters a supportive network and unlocks limitless possibilities.
