Jack’s journey with HOSA began at the 2020 State Leadership Conference, where he was immediately struck by the incredible sense of community and the organization’s mission. That experience left him both inspired and eager to dive deeper into the world of healthcare and leadership. Now serving as the Minnesota HOSA President-Elect, Jack is thrilled to be part of an organization that encourages growth, connection, and discovery—and he’s excited to help others along the way.
A student at Lakeville South High School, Jack is passionate about forensic psychology and plans to pursue a career that combines his interests in mental health and the justice system. He believes HOSA will play an important role in helping him hone his leadership skills while expanding his knowledge of healthcare. In particular, Jack is focused on raising awareness of Native American health disparities and hopes his work with Minnesota HOSA will help shed light on these underrepresented issues.
When he’s not immersed in schoolwork or HOSA, Jack enjoys singing with the Angelica Cantanti youth choir and indulging in his love for thrifting, especially when it comes to hunting down the perfect grandma sweater. He’s also a dedicated Roblox player, where he can often be found in playful arguments with elementary schoolers, and loves diving into creepy podcasts in his free time. As Jack looks ahead, he’s excited to serve Minnesota HOSA, ignite the passion in each member, and help them discover their own paths in healthcare.
