Jenny Neiss joined the Department of Education the beginning of 2024 as the CTE Health Science and Service Occupations Specialist. Her background in CTE started as a high school student, where she earned her EMT and CPR & First Aid instructor certifications which she still maintains. Jenny has worked in education, most recently spent the last 10 years as a CTE Health Science teacher and HOSA-Future Medical Professionals advisor at Spring Lake Park high school. Jenny has seen first-hand what high school students can achieve in CTE and is working to expand these programs in schools and support teachers across Minnesota.
